Chiappa 1887 Lever Action 12GA 28" Colour Case
Famed gun designer John Browning had suggested that a pump action might be more desirable for a repeating shotgun, but Winchester felt that their new shotgun should be a lever action for reasons of brand recognition. The Model 1887 became one of the first successful shotgun repeaters, and was designed for black powder charges. This modern day reproduction by Chiappa uses normal smokeless powder shotgun shells, and is a fine addition to the arsenal of any Cowboy Action shooter or the collection of any Old West fan.
